Local radio station Darwin’s 97 Seven FM got in touch with us after experiencing problems with their 5KW transmitter. After initial testing we found that the return loss of the antenna system was poor at -10.50 dB. Due to the decreased antenna efficiency Darwin 97 Seven FM reduce the Transmit power to prevent damage to the broadcasting equipment.  After replacing a problematic EAI flange connector, and re-assembling the power divider. Antenna efficiency improved significantly with a return loss of -25 dB at 97.7MHz.
