MATV System – The Midway, Berrimah
Under new ownership, the Midway in Berrimah underwent a remarkable transformation into a thriving pub and restaurant venue. Amidst a tangled web of existing cables, the solution was clear: a brand-new system.
Our MATV system modulates FOXTEL and FTA sources, enabling the distribution of in-house channels to any TV within the establishment, all controlled via an iPad.
MATV – Bookmaker Office, Darwin City
In a unique project, we designed and installed an MATV system for a bookmaker in Darwin. Our work encompassed rooftop satellite and TV antenna installations, multi-level cabling, and a 4CH modulation rack. Operating from a leased office, our client required flexibility in their infrastructure. To address this, we created a transportable cabinet with wheels for easy disconnection and future-proofed it with additional cabinet space. A floor-to-ceiling umbilical cord was installed for efficient cable management to a row of TV carts. This versatile MATV system allows the bookmaker to display the latest sports events on any of their office TVs, offering a live market to their customers.
Yagi Antenna Installation
This project focused on improving fire safety at a large apartment complex. We achieved this by installing a high-gain 50Ω Yagi antenna and running a long CNT-400 coaxial cable to the fire control panel radio transceiver. We also optimised antenna placement for better signal reception.
The outcome is a significantly strengthened signal and enhanced reliability for communicating with the fire authority in the event of a fire, ensuring the safety of the complex.
