We recently completed a comprehensive CCTV system installation for the St Vincent de Paul Housing facility in Katherine, providing enhanced security and remote monitoring capabilities across multiple buildings.

🔧 Project Scope:

• Installed a 32-Channel NVR at the main administration building to serve as the central hub for recording and monitoring.

• Deployed a total of 12 CCTV cameras, with strategic coverage across all key areas.

• Installed 8 high-definition cameras around the main admin building to ensure full perimeter visibility.

• Extended coverage to two detached buildings using:

  • A Cambium Networks MP3000 wireless AP, mounted on a 3-meter pole.

  • This allowed reliable network connectivity without the need for trenching or cabling over long distances.

• At the remote sites, we:

  • Installed outdoor-rated enclosures housing PoE network switches.

  • This allowed local cameras to power up and securely connect back to the main NVR over the wireless bridge.

• Seamless live viewing and recording across multiple structures.

• Secure, reliable wireless backhaul with minimal latency.

• Discrete and weatherproof outdoor installs to ensure long-term durability in the Northern Territory climate.
