Why use a 12VDC to 24VDC Converter?
The Starlink Mini operates on 12-48VDC, but powering it directly from 12VDC can cause frequent reboots due to voltage drops across cables or from other loads on the battery system. This issue is common with lead-acid batteries, especially when the engine is off, as their voltage fluctuates under load. While lithium batteries are more stable due to their higher floating voltage, they can still face challenges under heavy demand.
A 12VDC to 24VDC converter eliminates these issues by boosting the voltage, ensuring stable and reliable operation for your Starlink Mini.
